In early January I had an accident and did a huge amount of damage to my knee. I saw Mr Trikha a few days later and he immediately saw the distress and pain I was suffering. He arranged an MRI scan that day and operated at the first opportunity, in fact squeezing me on to his already busy list. Mr Trika decided I was a little too old to be considered for a complete ACL reconstruction and repaired what he could within my knee. At first I was disappointed and felt all my activities and in fact my life in general was over. I was wrong. I am now out of my brace and not using my crutch..... Mr Trikha was right. Would I recommend this doctor? ...every time!

I was in a difficult situation a carer for my wife who is terminally ill and self employed with advanced knee arthritis and cartilage problems, pain in my left knee that was starting to prevent me caring for her and working. I therefore needed a person I could trust be honest and get me back to doing the things I needed to do in the shortest and safest possible time. Paul Trikha, carried out a left Knee arthroscopy partial medial meniscectomy and excision of plica. During all the procedures I felt in safe hands I was operated on 11th of March, and back to help looking after my wife and working again by 23rd March. I followed his guidance instructions

I would recommend Paul Trikha as an excellent Orthopaedic surgeon. He has now operated on 2 of my sons, following rugby injuries, and myself in January. My youngest son who he operated on 2 weeks ago is making very good progress. Paul is a man of few words but what he does communicate is reasurance, expertise and a clear explanation of the procedure . Being a health professional myself he gave me the appropriate level of explanation which boosted my confidence. This reasurance more than covered any anxieties I may have had. Pauls good reputation goes before him but I am now well qualified to promote his skills and the excellent results my family have had . Thank you

i went to mr trikha after my first acl reconstruction failed privately, it was stretched during rehab and he reckoned it was positioned incorrectly perhaps aswell. So he performed a double bundle augmentation using my hamstring which is much better than the kneecap tendon as you would get pain forever always when you kneel down on it. I recommend his work as i got a 100% result after some exercising for some months, however then after 6 months i had an accident and from a drop to the floor about 3 foot this graft also became stretched. From then on it has been a complete battle. He refused to listen to me that it was stretched but i explained how much pain i was in and he wasted my time with an arthroscopy a year later that removed the damaged material and some pain i was having. after the op i got a letter from him confirming it was stretched. but it is now 2 years later, the graft is still stretched and i cannot walk properly and to top things off after two more appointments and being given a knee brace and told to just do therapy, they have cancelled my next appointment that i have been waiting 6 months for to get a rerevision that they promised me in writing so a complete let down. And multiple times i was there they tried to turn me away by saying you dont even need an acl lol. They are however redirecting me to another clinic supposedly so im going to have to wait to see how it goes form here.

I have a torn meniscus and after a lot of discussion we decided to wait and not have key hole surgery until my knee becomes more painful.I had a cortisone injection which made it feel a lot better albeit temporarily. It was nice not being rushed into having surgery but I felt completely confidant that this was the right decision.
